Thinksoft aims to be Six Sigma testing company- The Economic Times Thinksoft said it is targetting to grow at a CAGR of 60 to 70 per cent and targetting to become a Six Sigma testing company in next three years, while outlining its future plans that include increasing its employee force to 1000. The Chennai-based independent software validation and verification service company currently serving Global 500 companies in banking, financial services and insurance sectors The client list include Citigroup, Deutsche Bank, Morgan Stanley, ABN Amro etc.
Thinksoft Global Services Pvt Ltd has grown today to a strong 300 people organisation from a team of around 50 in 1998. "Today we have grown to a strong 300 people organisation. Out of this 20 per cent of people have strong domain expertise on insurance, banking and financial services. We plan to increase the strength to around 1000 people in the next three years, CEO and Managing Director of Thinksoft told PTI at Chennai.
We are bullish about the prospects in this business, said Kumar adding, a US study revealed over two thirds of financial organisations experience major software errors due to inadequate testing resulting in high repair costs and also loss of revenues, customers, market share etc.
While talking about his company's business focus, Kumar said that Thinksoft will focus only on banking, financial services and insurance (BFSI) . "Over the years we have developed our business model for the BFSI organisations. We are not keen entering into other areas like telecom. However we are planning to foray into healthcare sector. "Our vision is to become a Six Sigma testing company in in the next three years.Kumar added.
