Thinksoft recieves order to test Core Banking System for State Bank of India Thinksoft Global Services, leader in providing Independent Software testing services to global 500 Banking, Financial Services and Insurance organizations, announced that it has bagged the order to provide User Acceptance Testing End to End support for State Bank of India's prestigious centralized Core Banking system project.
Under this contract, Thinksoft will assist State Bank of India in User Acceptance testing, Performance testing and Regression Automation for the core banking project. The project covers customization of B@ncs24 Core banking solution from FNS, CS Eximbills (Trade Finance) from China Systems and Finance One ( Corporate GL) from Comlink, USA.
Speaking on the occasion, Asvini Kumar, CEO, Thinksoft said "Thinksoft is proud to be part of one the largest core banking system implementation projects in India. We hope to bring to table, the best practices and methodologies honed over 400 person years of testing projects for global banks".
SBI's core banking project is one of the largest of its kind in the world - in terms of the number of branches, customers and transaction volume. The group has more than 13,000 branches, including its seven associate banks with foreign offices in 31 countries.
