Thinksoft eyes 25-30% growth- The Economic Times
Thinksoft Global Services, an independent software testing company focused on banking, finance and insurance (BFSI) segments, expects a growth of 25-30% in its revenues for 2003-04, over 2002-03. It hopes to net 18% of its revenues this year.

Mr. Asvini Kumar, CEO, Thinksoft, said the company was likely to see this kind of revenue growth in the next few years too. "We operate in a niche segment, offering independent software testing services to BFSI segment and we believe we are poised to benefit from the current outsourcing wave", he said.

The company's client list includes Citigroup, Morgan Stanley, Deutsche Bank and ABN Amro.

Ms. Vanaja Arvind, COO, Thinksoft, said by outsourcing, these clients benefit from the objectivity of independent testers, from the domain knowledge and from the reduced time to market (by outsourcing parallel activities).

The company employs 220 professionals 15% of whom specialise in domains and the rest in software testing. It plans to add another 30 professional in a months time. "Professionals skilled in software testing are hard to find, and we spend considerable resources on training after recruitment." Ms. Arvind said.
