Is there any chance to do Performance testing
manually?

The very principle Performance test is to measure performance
parameters such as response time , throughput for varying user load.
The size of the User loads for which tests are planned will define the feasibility of Manual testing. Unless the load considered is miniscule like 30 to 50 Users Performance testing manually is not possible. For small loads You could have a team of upto 50 manual testers executing planned scenarios . The tester can use his workstations system clock to measure response time at each terminal and the system logs can be used to analyse data transmission throughput & Bandwidth utilization etc.

Manual performance testing is not feasible for testing systems which must support tremendous loads .

Consider this situation :

Test how the system would respond to 50,000 simultaneous users you have no option but to rule out manual testing! . You could however write a couple of Linux custom load-generating programs in the place of using a tool . Remember this is still not termed manual testing as the load generating program is a tool
