Thinksoft honors 180 employees with Long Service Awards
Employees urged to harness individual potential

Chennai, November 2, 2010: Financial Software Testing pioneers, Thinksoft Global Services Ltd. honored 180 employees of the company with Long Service Awards (LSA). The awards were instituted to recognise the commitment and contribution of these employees over the years. The family members of the awardees and their colleagues were also present in the awards ceremony.

Delivering his keynote address, the chief guest for evening Mr.Ganesh Chella, Founder, Totus Consulting, Chennai, congratulated the employees for their dedicated service. He also complimented their family members for their presence in the award ceremony and their support, adding that families are a constant source of support to the employees. Further, he added that professional life has a significant impact on one's personal life and well being and vice-versa. He advised the employees not to lose sight of 'happiness' as a legitimate goal in life.

Mr.Asvini Kumar, Managing Director, Thinksoft said he was glad to see employees along with their kith and kin in the gathering. He remarked that the IT industry has witnessed a rapid growth since its inception. "Within a short span of 20 years, the number of people serving the industry has increased from 20,000 to 2 million; about 3 million people are indirectly contributing to the sector and taking their family members into account, the industry has created an ecosystem of 25 million people," he mentioned. He observed that these employees face lot of stress, challenges and strain and have hardly any time to think about where they are headed and noted that these forums help them to re-look, re-focus and re-invent themselves. He called upon the employees to use the right thinking tools, choose the correct path and harness individual potential.

The awardees appreciated the recognition given and mentioned that the company had groomed them from Fresh Recruits to effective Managers and Specialists and wished to be a part of the next growth phase, which the company is poised to attain.
